CFOs are often seen as the show-me-the-money folks in the agency business, but TRG’s chief financial officer and partner, Elliott Fils, displays a great deal more PR savvy and heart in his role at the agency.

For more than 20 years, Elliott has been responsible for The Rogers Group’s long-term financial stability and profitability and has overseen all financial matters for clients.

Elliott, a graduate of UCLA, joined The Rogers Group in 1988 as controller, and was later appointed vice president of finance and administration. In 1995, Elliott was named chief financial officer and partner. His focus is to ensure the continued financial success and growth of the company. This has enabled the agency to provide the highly competitive compensation benefits packages required to attract and keep the best talent in the industry. Elliott is a California CPA and a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Elliott has also long embraced the agency’s philosophy of giving back to the community. He is devoted to a variety of fundraising activities and pro bono work, has spoken at numerous PR industry events and has contributed his time to the agency’s mentoring program.
